A message from Director Jennifer “J.J.” Davis Welcome to the Office of Management and Budget website. I invite you to explore this site and to learn more about all the services OMB provides. Our organization is responsible for managing the state's assets, including people, facilities, land and financial resources. Whether you are a state employee, pensioner, citizen of Delaware, business owner or a visitor to the state – I am sure you will find that OMB has plenty to offer you. OMB was officially created in July 2005 with the signing of HB 299 of the 143rd General Assemblyas part of Governor Ruth Ann Minner's vision for streamlining state government. The department combines the services and support of the former Office of the Budget, State Personnel Office and units of the Department of Administrative Services. We work hard at OMB to seek out efficiencies and to help our state run as effectively as possible. This is reflected in the vision for our department: "Working together to create excellence in state government." We are constantly striving for improvement, and our efforts were rewarded recently when we received a Delaware Quality Award of Merit.

There are many tools on this site to help you navigate our services. For example, if you are seeking a job with the State, you will find our Resources for Job Seekers page particularly helpful.
